The VPP Star Program is strictly voluntary. Only VPP Star applications of approved participants are kept on file. Under the Arizona Occupational Safety and Health Act, compliance with the provisions of the Act and the regulations and standards set under the authority of the Act is mandatory. If you are interested in finding out more about the VPP program, contact Jessie Atencio, Assistant Director, at (520) 628-5478, or Babak Emami, Consultation Supervisor, at (602) 542-1769. Since the inception of the program, several Arizona companies have been awarded the VPP Star recognition. The following companies are currently members of this elite group of employers:
