| Pursuant to A.R.S. § 23-907B, the No Insurance Section of the Special Fund processes workers’ compensation claims filed by employees of noninsured employers. Claims filed with the No Insurance Section are investigated, reviewed, and compensability determination is made in accordance with workers’ compensation guidelines. If found to be a compensable injury, benefits are paid by the Special Fund in accordance with the workers' compensation statutes. The Commission then pursues against the noninsured employer for reimbursement of all benefits paid, including assessed penalties. |
